We’ve just commissioned the 304kW expansion of Doomadgee’s landmark solar farm, as well as the installation of solar panels on council buildings. It’s a partnership with Doomadgee Aboriginal Shire Council and the Queensland Government.

“We are particularly excited about this project because of the sheer range and longevity of benefits that will come from it: energy savings for the council and therefore the community, a win for the environment due to more energy being generated from the solar farm versus diesel generation, and greater energy independence and investment in some of our more remote communities. It’s been a fantastic experience so far, and we’re excited to be part of Doomadgee’s energy transition,” said Yurika’s Charles Rattray.
