Yurika owns and operates the Queensland Electric Super Highway (#QESH), a network of 31 electric vehicle charging sites which stretches from the Gold Coast to Port Douglas and is expanding into central and western Queensland. We’ve had a look at the data from the 2021-2022 financial year, which shows some interesting insights:

  • our most popular sites are in Hamilton and North Lakes in South East Queensland
  • the average charge duration is 30 minutes
  • the quantity of charging sessions is highest in the middle of the day
  • charging sessions are evenly spread across every day of the week – no single day is more popular than any other.

We’re working hard on Phase 3 of the project, which aims to deliver another 24 sites in outback locations.
