Yurika launches smart water sub-metering solution powered by Taggle
The new technology is designed to revolutionise how commercial and industrial customers measure and manage water usage across their facilities.
At the heart of this innovation is a battery-powered data logger that connects to existing analogue water meters. It records pulse data and transmits it to a secure platform, enabling seamless data extraction and integration into Yurika’s systems. This replaces our legacy PIM product, which has reached end-of-life, with a more advanced, future-ready solution.
The device is ideal for sub-metering applications, capturing water usage data from individual meters and feeding it back into building management systems or into data management and visualisation platforms like InfoDynamics. Customers can monitor general usage trends, identify high and low consumption periods, and detect anomalies such as leaks or unexpected spikes.
We have extensively trialled the Taggle pulse logger with a broad range of customers over the past two years. It is ideal for:
– facility managers of large buildings
– operators of embedded networks
– commercial and industrial customers.
It’s especially valuable for sites with hard-to-access meters—such as those located in pits, under roads, behind heavy metal lids, or in high ceilings—where manual readings are costly and time-consuming.
Cost savings: Reduces the need for physical meter readings, cutting down on labour and access challenges.
Data visibility: Enables real-time insights into water usage, helping customers make informed decisions.
Sustainability support: We’re working to align the solution with NABERS certification, allowing customers to use it as part of their sustainability reporting and performance improvement strategies.
Scalable and smart: The device integrates with Taggle’s NB-IoT backed pulse logger ensuring reliable data transmission from virtually any location.
Water is a critical resource, and smart metering empowers businesses to manage it more efficiently. With this new offering, Yurika continues to lead the way in delivering innovative, customer-focused solutions that support sustainability, operational efficiency, and digital transformation.
