Solar farm 22kV 30MW substation and underground connection project

Corowa is a town in New South Wales on the banks of the Murray River, near the border between New South Wales and Victoria. Corowa solar farm is located approximately 3km northwest of Corowa’s central business district.

We were engaged by Metka to build a 22kV 30MW solar farm substation comprising a transformer, switch gear and protection equipment. Connected to the local Essential Energy electricity network via a 3.5km underground cable, this project supports the local energy grid.
