Hamilton is a gateway to Brisbane’s inner-city suburbs with a growing number of electric vehicle (EV) drivers in the area.

Now, as part of a collaboration between Queensland government and Yurika, whether you’re visiting local attractions, dining along the river, or commuting from nearby apartments, if you’re an EV driver in Hamilton, we have a new charging hub just for you.

The much-anticipated Queensland Electric Super Highway (QESH) charging station in Hamilton is now live, offering the very latest in electric vehicle (EV) charging technology.

Situated at Dock A car park, in the trendy North Shore location, this new site replaces the previous charging station, which was decommissioned due to the construction of the popular Blueys World attraction. With five state-of-the-art Yurika charges now operational, EV drivers can once again power-up in this high-demand area.

The Hamilton site introduces a mix of fast DC 120kW and kerbside AC 22kW charging options making it more accessible for different charging needs:

Ultra-fast charging for people looking for a fast charger our 120 kW for quick top-ups, and ‘drivers on the go.’

Kerbside charging innovation which includes new kerbside chargers providing a lower-speed charge over a longer duration at 22 kW — ideal for residents in nearby apartments or for those spending extended time in the area.

Accessibility Bay provided on site is a marked priority accessibility bay, ensuring we cater to the needs of all EV drivers.

This site reflects the latest evolution of QESH infrastructure, offering a more flexible, sustainable, and convenient charging experience. As a trusted leader in renewable energy solutions, we continue to expand and improve EV charging accessibility across Queensland.
