Right to Information
Energy Queensland Limited, as a Government Owned Corporation, is committed to making documents about our functions and operations publicly available in accordance with the Right to Information Act 2009 (Qld) and the Information Privacy Act 2009 (Qld).
The primary purpose of the legislation is to give a right of access to information in the government’s (including a GOC’s) possession or under the government’s control unless, on balance, it is contrary to the public interest to give the access.
We are required to publish details of documents released in accordance with the legislation, via our online Publication Scheme.
Requests under the Acts
Under the Right to Information Act 2009 (Qld) and the Information Privacy Act 2009 (Qld), you can only apply to access or amend documents. You can't use this process to ask for answers to your questions.
