GRS, one of Australia’s top EPC companies in the solar industry, was last year awarded the EPC contractor role for the Wellington North Solar Farm project near Dubbo, New South Wales. This project which is being developed by Lightsource bp, a global leader in the development and management of solar energy projects, is set to be one of the largest in the region and is expected to take two years to complete. Spanning 847 hectares and comprising 755,552 photovoltaic modules, it is expected to generate 425MWdc clean energy – enough to power over 152,500 households.

Today we are excited to announce our agreement with GRS, to provide support for the construction and commissioning of this Wellington North Solar Farm project. As part of our involvement in the project, Yurika will be responsible for the design, construction and commissioning of approximately 7km of 330kV overhead transmission line and a 330kV/33kV grid connection/solar farm substation.

This fantastic collaboration with GRS reaffirms our position as a leading provider of grid connection infrastructure in the renewables sector. With numerous projects already successfully executed with GRS, we’re well positioned and looking forward to playing a key role in supporting the energy transition, green energy and net zero emissions targets.

Let’s talk!
